Chicken Noodle Soup

  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 cups chopped carrots
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 (10-oz.) cans chicken, drained
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup whole wheat noodles
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tsp. Nature’s Seasoning
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. oregano


Saute onion, celery, and carrots in olive oil (in soup pot) for about 5 minutes.

Add chicken broth and chicken cans, then fill cans with water and add to soup to get more “chickeny” taste and cook on high heat.

Once liquid has boiled, add noodles and peas, and continue to cook on high heat for 15-20 minutes.

Season to taste with Nature’s Seasoning, basil, oregano, and leaves from celery stalks if desired.
