Summer Ale Batter

  • 1 1/2 cup Samuel Adams Summer Ale (1 bottle)
  • 1 1/2 cup self-rising flour
  • 3 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • Salt, pepper to taste
  • Paprika (optional)


Mix all the ingredients very well and let it sit for 5 minutes in a bowl. When the batter is ready, just dip your vegetables (this batter works great with zucchini) or seafood (like calamari) in it before frying.
