CRANBERRY SALAD

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries, Ground
  • 2 cups apples, Ground
  • 2 cups crushed pineapple, well drained-reserve syrup
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup of pineapple syrup
  • 2 cups Pecans, chopped
  • 2 small boxes Black Cherry Jell-O
  • 1-cup cold water
  • 2 cups hot water

Directions

Grind cranberries and apples. Drain pineapple and cover with sugar set to the side. Mix hot water with Jell-O to dissolve completely, add cold water and pineapple juice.
Mix cranberries, apples, pineapples and pecans into Jell-O and refrigerate over night. Optional – garnish top with chopped pecans or miniature marshmallows. Can be chilled in a 9x13 Pyrex dish, cut into square and served on a lettuce leave or chilled in a glass-serving dish.
