- 2 lb ground beef
- Chopped Onion to taste
- 1 - 1 lb. bag frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- 1- 3 cup bag shredded cheddar cheese (I use mild)
- 2 can Campbell's Condensed Cream of Chicken with Herb (regular Cream of Chicken will work)
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
9x13-inch glass cooking dish
Large Mixing bowl
Oven mitts or something similar
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place ground beef and onion in skillet. Brown on medium heat. Once brown, drain grease and blot with paper towels. Put cooked ground beef into mixing bowl. Add Cream of Chicken with Herb soup and frozen vegetables into bowl. Mix together thoroughly with wooden spoon. Add salt and pepper to taste and stir. Spread contents of bowl into the 9x13-inch pan. Top with tater tots, 1 tater tot high, covering the entire casserole. Place in oven for 40 minutes. Remove from heat and sprinkle entire bag of shredded cheddar cheese onto the top of the tater tots. Place back in oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is entirely melted.
