Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Butter (room temperature)
  • 5 ¼ oz Granulated Sugar
  • 4 oz Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon Corn Syrup
  • 2 Tablespoon Samuel Adams Winter Lager
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 10 ½ oz All-Purpose Flour

Directions

Mix granulated sugar, brown sugar and 2 Tablespoons of Samuel Adams Winter Lager in mixer (medium speed)

Add butter and cream until light and fluffy (medium/high speed)

Add corn syrup and continue to mix

Slow mixer down and add egg and then continue to mix on medium speed

Combine remaining ingredients in a separate bowl

Add dry ingredients to butter mixture on low speed until fully incorporated

Remove cookie dough from mixing bowl and wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour

BAKE:
Mix granulated sugar, brown sugar and 2 Tablespoons of Samuel Adams Winter Lager in mixer (medium speed)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Remove cookie dough from fridge and scoop 1 oz balls onto ungreased baking sheets

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown

Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes; remove to a wire rake to completely cool
