Measure cereal and set aside. In a microwaveable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on high 30 second. Stir and then microwave in 30 second increments (stirring in between) until it is melted. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring gently until evenly coated. Pour into gallon resealable bag. Add powdered sugar and shake like crazy to cover the chex. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container or in the refrigerator.
