Tex-Mex Taco Skillet

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon each chili powder and red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 4 flour tortillas, 8" size cut into 1" squares
  • Optional: one diced tomato, green onions or cilantro


Cook beef and drain. Stir in soup, salsa, water,spices and tortillas. Heat to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes. Stir and top with cheese, diced tomatoes and green onions or cilantro. Cover for a few additional minutes until cheese has melted.
