A classic Chinese staple soup. Very easy to make and tasty.
- 3 cans chicken/vegetable broth/stock
- 1 green onion, chopped fine
- 4 raw eggs, blended together
- 1 tsp. cornstarch or flour
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
DirectionsHeat broth/stock with green onion and other seasonings to boiling. Mix cornstarch/flour with water in a cup; add to broth. Heat until thickened.
Remove from heat. Add raw eggs, stirring with a fork. Stir rapidly for small pieces or slowly for longer, thicker threads.
