Chex Cajun Kick

  • 2 cups corn Chex
  • 2 cups rice Chex
  • 2 cups wheat Chex
  • 2 cups bite-sized pretzel twists
  • 2 cups mixed nuts
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. Creole seasoning
  • 1 tsp. red pepper sauce


In a large microwavable bowl mix cereal, pretzels, and nuts.

In a 2-cup microwavable measuring cup microwave butter uncovered on high about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in Creole seasoning and pepper sauce. Pour over cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated.

Microwave uncovered on high for 6 minutes, stirring ever 2 minutes. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.
