Shredded Barbeque Beef

  • 4 lbs. Boneless beef round steak 3/4 inch thick
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup (8 oz.) coke, or other cola flavored drink
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp prepared horseradish
  • 1/2 cup onions (or to taste, I left them out)


Cut up beef round steak into small pieces (1 inch pieces). Put all ingredients in slow cooker, mix well. Cook on high for 5-6 hours.

About 30 minutes before serving place steak pieces on large plate and shred with two forks, return to slow cooker and stir well. Cook on high for another 20 minutes until fully moistened and heated.
